As you have read, we lost a
chapter brother this weekend. The
email traffic has been tremendous so Doug must have been a great guy. I
wish I had a chance to meet him. Anyone looking to help Doug’s
family can do so in the following ways:
1. TRUST FUND:
In lue of sympathy cards or flowers a donation may be made to the "Henry
Higgs Trust Fund."
Checks should be made payable to Scott & Shuman, LLC, and mailed
to
38017 Fenwick Shoals Blvd.
Selbyville, DE 19975
Attn: Henry Higgs Trust Fund. Please write "Benefit of Henry Higgs" in
the memo line of the check.
All money shall be held in escrow until the trust has been finalized. Krissy
shall be the trustee, and Henry shall be the beneficiary.
2. LETTERS TO HENRY:
Krissy & the family are having a book put together for Henry comprised
of pictures of Doug and letters to Henry from Doug's friends and family
members. The letters should begin "Dear Henry" and go on to
tell of our memories/stories or thoughts about Doug. The letters can
be as long or as
short as the author wants and can be typed or hand written. The book
will be professionally bound in leather and given to Henry when he is 15 years
old. The pictures and letters should be e-mailed to: kskiles@cmfa.com
no later than October 5th, 2006. The subject line of the e-mail should
read "Henry's Letter."
